On the far side of the lake,
the rock has a vertical face.
The precipice is looking down,
the near side beach.
An intense viscous shimmer emerges on the swell.
Good footwork and a spiral approach,
will take you to the meniscus.
Beyond the stained stripes of another time.
Hail the level centre!
People kind have made some art.
There's a sculpture pointing that away.
There's a car driven off the edge still sin king.
And it's a long way down but not long enough for a fool diving high on the summer.
