Now plus more time equals later on.

Later that day the red light came
The crimson sunset glow
In the music
A quartet competing
A crescendo of light refracting
An influx of shadows lingering

As the Sun slipped over the periphery
A crown pointed the way home
In illuminated trails
The sundial enveloped by dusk
Told the time
On the figures dancing inside The Lantern

Later that night the Moon came
From around the corner
In an explosion of slow motion
A voluminous sail navigating
Full on spin into the red light
And off again into the ocean

A bat flapped across the night show
And Orion unbuckled
Now plus more time equals later on
In Harmony Tingling
Lots of different nations
Tell a collective anecdotal blessing

How to make it up as you are going along.

How to measure in millimetres.
One centimeter equals ten mm.
What this means.
It's a meridian monument.
How mode you?
Modular.
How to memorise a menu.
One feast equals ten take-a-ways.
What this feeds.
It's a big deal.
Where are you living right now?
Lately.
How to keep a secret.
One lie equals ten beatific folklore's.
What this entertains.
It's an urban myth.
What period?
Realistically.
How to make it up as you are going along.
One hero equals ten thousand enemies.
When this happens.
It's common knowledge.
How do you do?
Mysteriously.

Telescopically noislessly marvelously.

This way

XIII of experience.

My name is of old,
my life is foretold.
Who am I?
One One Five,
Cross Park Drive.
Out of the top hat came a sight for sore eyes,
a surprise.
A tragic demise.
An honorary member of the Magic Eclipse.
A region of inverted zones, a landscape.
Very near is far away, up is down, fast is stationary.
Vanished.

Lend me a memory,
Send me a message,
Tell me about the times we were apart,
Come to me secretly,
Talk to me remotely,
Remind me of the times we haven't lived.
Look me in the eye,
Just try,
Don't take the mick out of me,
Or try to write your own history,
Laugh with me,
Confess your love to me eternally.

Your wonderful letter.

19-11-96 Dearest N Flat3-SE27
Thank you so much for your wonderful letter,
which has cheered me up enormously.
It came as quite a surprise actually,
but I knew it wouldn't be long before we wrote to each other.
Although you were right,
I did need some time to get my verbs (act) together.
It seems like so long ago since we sat on my airbed,
in my empty flat upon the eve of my departure.

Long gone is the throng.

The noon service to the Moon.
A unique opportunity.
T'journey t'Sea=Tranquility.
Just a day away, they say.
The station clock hands darted,
as the Full Moon Express departed.
Was that the Full Moon Express?
The train -that was standing on Platform 8-?
Missed it!
MIND THE GAP / the platform edge!
Closing now is the gate.
But for seconds late.
The portal passed.
The whistle blew.
I know it's crazy, but it's true.
Emerging from a foggy wake.
Giant steps cannot foresake.
Long gone is the throng.....of lunar tourists,
selenologists, artists and mystics.
Next service, next MOON'th
Or 27 days, come what may.

Gothic Keywords.

The bongo beating heart of love.

Here's to the gardeners who grow it.
At the flower festival they show it.
Nature enthralled.
In full bloom for all.

Here's to the tailors who sew it.
Upon the city gent they throw it.
Fitted smooth and proud.
As seen in the crowd.

Here's to the pilots who fly it.
Goggles magnificent in pursuit of it.
Dive bomb 1-2-3 hundred and sixty degree.
A life flash by in front of thee.

Here's to the poets who know it.
Inscribe in rhyme for the flow of it.
The time and the mood.
Waltzing words interlude.

Here's to the musicians who play it.
Orbital orchestra, tea dance and trumpet.
The bongo beating heart of love.
The vaulted voice of an angel above.

Bend over the sink.

Let me wash your hair.
Hair that falls in curls.
Let my hand wander through the strands.
Let me drench you.
Anointing your head.
With aqua from holy vase.
Holding you in my grasp.
Fingers lingering.
Watching the water flowing away.
